Clint Dempsey on FIFA Futbol Mundial

As some of you may have seen, Clint Dempsey was featured on FIFA Futbol Mundial. After an exciting summer where Dempsey won the Bronze Ball at the Confederations Cup, the U.S. midfielder is back with Fulham in the English Premier League. While the league season is yet to get underway, Fulham have already started their European campaign. They beat FK Vetra in the first leg of Europa League qualification last week and face the return leg at Craven Cottage in a few days. Here's the piece from Futbol Mundial:

He deserves every good thing that goes his way. He is a player that proves that hard work and determination can get you places.

Great stuff here! Clint is the man...especially when Bradley moves him up to the front in the second half.

Right on guys! Agree with everyone else that it was fantastic to have the piece posted for all to view and enjoy. Hope more and all related U.S. pieces are posted for everyone.Clint truly is a great player and it was sad,but also great to see him shedding tears after the loss to Brazil in final of Confed. cups. It tells us he truly had his heart and soul invested in that match and tourney and reflects what many of us felt.Playing and representing the U.S. in any sport is a true honor and it must feel amazing ot wear that jersey. Hopefully the loss isn't a feeling repeated often and replaced with the joy of winning (like beating Spain). In any case all we ask is that they give their all and leave it on the pitch... no matter the result. Good luck against Mexico.USA!
