Getting Sized Up

You may be surprised (or disappointed) to know that most players use their day off to do ... well, not a whole lot. Extra sleep, perhaps a magazine by the pool, a longer trip to the coffee shop ... not exactly the glamor life.

This afternoon, however, a couple guys are on a special mission - to get measured for ring sizes. And no, not the matrimonial kind. Columbus Crew midfielder Brian Carroll and goalkeeper Will Hesmer are getting sized up for the championship rings they earned when the Crew captured a 3-1 victory in the 2008 MLS Cup final.

Not a bad way to spend any day...
