DAY ONE DONE

The first training session in Switzerland is in the books, the group going for about 75 minutes on a rather chilly morning here in Yverdon-les-Bains. All 19 players currently in camp trained, with the Fulham duo of Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey arriving this afternoon. DaMarcus Beasley, who has been out of action since the weekend with a sore ankle, resumed full activity. With a lot of new faces, there was a sense of excitement and a bit of nerves as the young players got accustomed to each other and the new environment. The teamed trained on the match field of the local second division club, performing for an audience of school children who took a break from their own practice to watch the big boys in action.
